- Fits into the original LED channels and connects to the existing LED driver/board (direct-fit replacement when matched to correct model).
- Does not address unrelated failures such as main board, power supply, or panel matrix faults.
What's included: One LED assembly. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and allow the TV to sit unpowered before starting—work only when fully de-energized.
- Handle the LCD panel and assembly carefully to avoid pressure damage; wear ESD protection when available.
- Verify LED operation before full reassembly (power up with the panel/coverings off only if you are comfortable and it's safe to do so).

Took 10 minutes. Upnplug or turn the power off to the Refig/Freezer. One screw to take off the plastic cover plate where the light LED Assembly is attached and carefully unplug the LED Assembley from the Freezer and remove the cover plate from the top of the Freezer . Unscrew the old LED Assembly from the cover and install the new LED Assembly. Plug the LED Assembly into the Freezer and carfully insert plastic cover plate in the freezer and replace the cover pate screwscrew.

Replaced touch pad. Did run into a little problem. the new pad flashed up a code PED000 apparently the pad had to be programmed using the code from the serial number plate. Whirlpool service was zero help said code didn't exist. Found instructions how to do it on line. Found it on Google by asking what does this code mean. Anyway after following the instructions on reprogramming all is working great now. Thank you Appliance parts Pros.com

Installed a new touch pad/circuit board combination as recommended by Appliance Parts Pros. The water/ice control now works perfect. The touch pad was somewhat difficult to remove due to surface adhesive. Used a knife to loosen the touch pad so it could be pulled from the plastic panel. Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor.
