Replace a worn, damaged, or missing piston pin in your engine. This small pin connects the piston to the connecting rod and requires replacement when bent or broken.
This authentic OEM set of standard replacement rings attach to the pistons of a combustion engine and act as a seal to keep gas from escaping. If gas escapes from the piston, there will not be enough pressure to drive the piston upwards. Piston rings also help to transfer heat away from the piston so that the engine does not overheat and scrape away oil that's built up in the combustion chamber. These rings take a lot of abuse both from scraping and heat, so over time they may wear out or break. If piston rings break, the engine will produce low acceleration because the pistons cannot push the crankshaft. Other signs include greyish white smoke and built up oil. To replace a piston ring, first remove the pistons from the engine. These high-quality replacement rings are sourced from their original manufacturer and will work with Toro and Briggs & Stratton engines. This set includes three rings and no other additional hardware.
Fix a broken or worn starter handle that won't pull easily. This starter rope grip restores easy pull-starting on lawn mower and outdoor power engines.
The stop wire is a safety cable device offered on many types of lawn and garden equipment. It is pressed near the upper handle of a device to start it, which lets the blades spin and creates forward motion on equipment that is self-propelled. A stop wire can stretch out over time and will need to be replaced to ensure total safety. If the blade brake control is released and the blades continue to spin for more than a couple of seconds, the wire needs to be replaced.Take the equipment and put it on a flat surface before taking the metal on the stop cable and moving it out of the mower handle. Squeeze the center tabs of the wire with needle-nose pliers and pull the cable end through the bracket. Pull the other end out and then replace it with a new component. This is an authentic OEM replacement part for use with garden equipment engines. It is an individual part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer. This part is compatible with lawnmowers, wood chippers, snowblowers, generators, log splitters, tillers leaf blowers, and pressure washers by Briggs & Stratton, MasterCut, Craftsman, Simplicity, Toro, MTD, Cub Cadet, Lawn-Boy, Murray, and Wheel Horse.
