The plastic cam the bottom hinge had ground down over time and the door would have to be pushed shut. The cam was not automatically closing the door when the door was swung closed. I bought the new hinge pieces from AppliancePartsPros.com by using the model number found on the refrigerator tag. The schematic diagram helped me identify what to order. The parts arrived in 2 days. I replaced the Ice Dispenser Lever. Since the replacement part is only available in white and my fridge is bone, I replaced also the Water Dispenser Lever, so it looks much better. I followed the instructions in the video, which were very useful and very well done. My problem was that the refrigerator is a KitchenAid built-in, while the instructions were for a Whirlpool, so the removal of the faceplate was quite different from what was shown in the video and more difficult. Piece of cake. Literally no hardware required. Just looked at the diagram provided for my fridge. The parts fit perfectly. The replacement clip was inexpensive. The 2 bars I needed I thought were very expensive. But I needed them so I could store my condiments- to free up space on my shelves. But - I did it all by myself. No man- no tools. :) Read more
