This evaporator tray collects defrost and condensation water from the evaporator assembly to help prevent leaks and water pooling inside the refrigerator. It fits under the evaporator to route meltwater to the drain system. What it does:

• Catches and channels defrost/condensation water away from internal components
• Helps prevent water pooling or dripping inside the fresh food or freezer compartments
• Supports proper defrost drainage to reduce ice buildup around the evaporator
