This kit includes a siphon break device that installs on the washer's drain hose connection to prevent water from siphoning back into the machine. It acts as an anti-siphon valve, ensuring proper drainage and preventing dirty water from flowing back into the wash tub. Replace this part if your washer is not draining properly, fills and drains at the same time, or if the existing siphon break is cracked or leaking.
