This is a tub fill nozzle assembly that directs water from the inlet valve into the washer tub during the fill cycle. Plastic cup that holds the suspension rod at the tub connection point. Replace if cracked, worn, or broken to restore proper tub support and alignment.
Discovered that one of the rear tub support rods (which are different than the front support rods), had permanently compressed the internal spring, requiring replacement. I also replaced the plastic rod support socket to be sure that all the components would be updated. Removing the front panel allowed me to also remove the top lid panel, enabling access to the rear rod without completely disconnecting the machine & accessing the rear panel.
