Ordered water inlet solinoid valve and water temperature probe sensor. Items arrived in a few days. Appliance Parts Pros on-line video was extremely helpful for replacing inlet valve. It only took 20 minutes. Recommend replacing temp. sensor probe while old valve is out before mounting new valve. Only 2 screws-Easy. Entire job took about an hour start to finish. Saved at least $150 doing it myself over repairman and saved $750 over replacing the washer. Happy wife, happy life! Read more

• Will not stop filling with water

We had two problems at the same time. The washer was occasionally overflowing especially on super loads, and also leaking out the bottom, which got worse really fast. The overflow problem we have had before when the pressure switch hose became plugged with gunk, but cleaning the hose didn' fix it this time. Replaced transmission and brake assembly. The video on appliancepartspros.com was very helpful. A few comments: 1) On my model, there was no wiring harness to unhook to detach the lid switch, as was shown on the video. Instead, I had to remove the switch itself. Underneath, one of the short edges of the switch has a clip that you depress, and then you can poke the switch up. Its alive!! After a recent power surge, our washer would not spin or agitate. I tried replacing the timer but the motor still would not spin or agitate. I was really hoping the motor was not fried. I replaced the fuse and its working like a champion again!
