The Latch Switch Kit, an OEM Replacement Part is designed to ensure the safe operation of your Whirlpool dishwasher. The kit includes two microswitches and a wiring harness. It prevents the appliance from running when the door is open. If defective, the door switch may prevent the dishwasher from operating even when the door is closed.

I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before. Read more

When the wife told me the dishwasher was leaving water in the bottom of the tub I hoped it'd be that the filter was just clogged. Nope. Unplug the old twist remove. Push the new one in twist,plug the wires in. Flop around on floor under sink to hook every thing up. Read more

Replace filter unit and pump seal kit. This is a pretty straight forward repair. Removal requires a few tools: small socket set, a few torx bits, and a little patience to clean out the extra soap and crud that collects below the filter assembly around the impeller and pump.
