This fuel line assembly is created for use with string trimmers and is used to bring gasoline to the small engine in a lawn and garden tool. As the string trimmer is used, the fuel line assembly can start to break down, which may result in cracks in the fuel lines or discoloration. This can cause the fuel line to stop working the way it should, which will affect the performance of the trimmer. If the fuel lines are no longer the correct color or seem brittle, a replacement is likely needed. The line can be pinched to see if there are any visible cracks. In some cases, the primer bulb will no longer seal the way it should and will create more air than expected when priming the trimmer. Another sign that the fuel line assembly is damaged is lower power when someone uses the throttle. This is a genuine OEM part that comes directly from the manufacturer.
