Mark W Belair , MD January 11, 2020 Appliance: General Electric Electric Range ZV36SSF1SS GE monogram range hood lights did not work. Kenmore refrigerator water dispenser would not shut off. Refrigerator was easy. Simply replaced the activator switch that was sticking. The range hood was a little more difficult. I had replaced the switch years ago but it still didn’t work. So I took on the challenge of replacing the transformer. That was difficult to get to but once replaced and reassembled the lights work fine. Read More... Miguel D Sandia Park , NM April 27, 2024 Appliance: LG Bottom-Mount Refrigerator LFX28968ST/06 Intermittent full opening of ice chute door Originally, replaced the door open/close motor thinking it was failing, but after a while ice chute door started to not fully open again. That left only two other failure modes - - signal pulse duration from control board, or the convoluted plastic link, lever, and cap assembly shaft binding/bending. Replaced them all. Since then operating correctly - - no further issues. It is possible the plastic levers and/or door cap shaft was binding, or bending, not allowing the cap to fully open. For good measure, I also replaced the Actuator Lever since I was opening up the ice/water dispenser door front anyway. Appliance Parts Pro was very easy to order from, and they even rapidly resent a part that was damaged in transit. Will do business with them again...very professional and helpful. Read More...
