This is a black metal side panel that attaches to the left exterior side of the range, providing a finished appearance and structural support. This is the right-side outer panel for a freestanding range, providing the exterior surface that faces outward when the unit is installed at the end of a counter run. It gives the range a finished appearance and protects internal components. Replace this panel if it is dented, scratched, rusted, or otherwise damaged.
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.
