Description

This water inlet valve controls water flow to the refrigerator's ice maker and dispenser so ice production and water dispensing work reliably. Replaces a worn or failed valve to restore proper filling and water delivery. What it does:

• Opens and closes water flow to the ice maker and dispenser when signaled
• Can stop water flow when the valve or solenoid fails, causing no water or no ice
• A worn valve may cause weak/no water dispensing or slow/fail ice production
• May leak if seals or valve body fail, so replacement stops persistent leaks from the inlet area
