• Leaking

I took all the food out of the fridge, and tilted the refrigerator 30degrees to the left (if looking straight at the fridge). I unscrewed the cardboard backing, and moved the drip tube from the drain pan. I unscrewed the 4 screws for the drain pan, and the 2 hex screws holding up the metal plate on the left side (becuase there is a lip on the metal plate that holds the pan in). Then I could slightly pull down on the metal plate and pull the drain pan out. Then popped the new drain pan in. Read more

The grill vent is only held in place by two screws. Super simple fix. Remove the two screws and the old grill vent, position the new vent and put the two screws back in. Replacing the cord required that cabinet to be removed. Lots of screws on the back, top and bottom. Once the screws were removed, the cabinet pulled back. I went in through the lower back of my Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator, found a duck-bill end on the existing drain tube, and removed it. Less than a cup of water was released into the evaporator pan. I didn't need the drain tube I bought - and replacing it would have involved getting into the interior wall inside the freezer, which would have been a LOT more work. I purchased a can of black appliance spray paint, removed the panels on the dishwasher, sprayed them, and a few hours later put them back.
