I took the stove vent completely apart so I could clean it inside and out. I boiled the fan blowers in a large pot until all the grease melted off. I sprayed the bare hood with oven cleaner and rinsed it off. I do know NOT to use oven cleaner on aluminum so I boiled the screens also. Those are not that old. Everything almost looks new now. I want to thank you. I was convinced that I needed a new run capacitor until talking to your rep on the phone. After describing the symptoms he suggested that I needed a new relay. He gave me info on how to meter the cap and it checked out fine. I ordered the new relay it has fixed the problem. The old one was definitely shot as I could hear it guts rattle around after I removed it. Now I don't need to buy a new freezer. That makes me happy. Thank you! Read more
