This balance weight is the washer counterweight that helps stabilize the tub during spin cycles to reduce vibration and noise. Replaces a worn or damaged weight to restore smoother, quieter operation. What it does:

• Counterbalances the washer drum to minimize shaking and excessive movement during spin cycles
• Helps prevent banging or knocking noises caused by an unbalanced tub
• Supports even load distribution to reduce stress on suspension components
• Used when a cracked, loose, or missing weight is causing vibration issues

• One balance weight (counterweight)

• Disconnect power and water supply before starting any repair
• Support the tub or cabinet when removing/installing the weight to avoid sudden movement
• Tighten mounting hardware to OEM torque if specified; use the factory fasteners when available
