I took the cover off the transmission and determined that the only possible knocking had to be coming from the yoke. I ordered a new yoke and all the tub seals needed to put it back together like new. I also ordered a new drive pulley bearing because this bearing is always turning whenever the washer is used. This washing machine is 19 years old, had water leaking from tub seal. Not the most difficult job I have ever done but installing the tub and bolting to brackets is in a tight space for 2 of them and took about six hours due to checking disassembling and re-assembling on computer.
