This is a plastic vent grille that covers the air intake or exhaust area on the refrigerator, typically located at the bottom front or top of the unit. It allows airflow to the condenser while keeping debris out. Replace this grille if it is cracked, broken, discolored, or if missing louvers are restricting proper ventilation and causing the refrigerator to run warm.

Fixes refrigerator warm but freezer cold, ice buildup on evaporator coil. Moderately difficult repair requires removing freezer panel and coil.
The cooling coils were iced-up. The ice was blocking air flow to the refrigerator. This resulted in the freezer working fine while the refrigerator was warm. Called AppliancePartsPros and talked to Sally. Sally was a big help in troubleshooting the problem. I ordered and replaced the cooling coil heater.
