Seal tape creates a flexible barrier around your microwave door to prevent air and moisture leaks. Replace worn, cracked, or missing sealing strips.
Dis-assembled the door(not easy), thoroughly cleaned the glass and screen, re-assembled the door and replaced the seal tape. Looks good. Would look better if the seal tape hadn't come in with some creases in it. But it is acceptable. Read more

When Microwaving food, the display panel would seem to act normal, but the typical microwave sound would be absent. No microwave action would occur. Eventually an F5 code would display. Problem was the upper door switch. Found it by opening up the cabinet, removing the display panel (1 screw and a couple of plugs) and testing all three micro switched with a meter. Plastic film covers holes in the microwave inner door frame. Replace if bubbled, burned, cracked, or peeling. Attaches to door glass assembly.
Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways. This is a small synchronous motor that drives the turntable inside the microwave, slowly rotating the glass tray to ensure even heating of food. It mounts beneath the microwave floor and connects to the turntable coupler. Replace this motor if the turntable has stopped spinning or rotates intermittently while the microwave is running.
Turned the microwave on its back. Took a hammer and screwdriver to punch out the small access door for the motor, unscrewed two screws holding the motor and unplugged the the wiring harness. Attached the new motor with the two screws and plugged the wiring harness back on. Finally, attach the access door with the screw. It took longer to punch out the access door than to actually install the motor. Read more
