Needed installation parts. I ordered the parts from the company I purchased the appliances from. A week went by and no parts, called, emailed and called again to find out when the parts would arrive to be able to Re-schedule the installation. Called AppliancePartsPros because of good experiencing diagnosing problem with a dishwasher repair. We definitely are modest income amateurs! Same excellent response to our questions. Three possible causes. Used easy search menu to fine replacement parts. Bought all three, knowing that if all not needed, the others could be returned (within 365 days) for refund. Dropped light panel by removing two screws with socket set. Unplugged two terminals and unclipped the light socket from the base. Then just clipped the new socket onto the base, plugged the connectors onto the terminals and remounted the base. Total job was less than 15 minutes. Read more

Came up with next control item upstream and tallied that item failure with percentages of successful repairs, (4 mins.) door safety switch. Pretty easy fix. Took out 7-8 screws to remove cover for access to light. 2 were security type screws so I had to run to the hardware store to buy a special screwdriver. One screw to remove the bulb. Read more

• Tray won't turn

Removed 8 screws from bottom panel on microwave. Pulled two prong plug off old motor. Read supplied voltage off motor decal and tested for it. Deemed motor to be bad and changed it. Works great. After tearing old motor apart it seems a liquid got in there from inside microwave. No seal on motor. Bad design flaw in my opinion. Read more

Careful placement of new screws into the inside of the outer door that now hold the frame assembly to the door secured the frame assembly to the outer door. All of the other parts I bought and replaced were a waste of money. I figured since I had them I might as well install them anyways.
