The Range Screw is an OEM part for Whirlpool ranges. It is a small but essential component used to secure various parts and panels of the range. It is designed to fit securely into pre-drilled holes, holding components tightly in place.
There are a few factors that can lead to a bad Range Screw. Over time, screws may become loose or stripped due to frequent use or inadequate tightening. Accidental cross-threading or overtightening can also damage the screw or the surrounding components.
Symptoms of a bad screw may include loose or wobbly parts, rattling noises during operation, or difficulty in keeping components securely attached. This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.

Microwave won't turn on or has no power? A blown fuse is often the cause. This safety fuse protects circuits from shorts. Requires cover removal to replace.
In addition to blown fuse; the fuse holder was melted at one end. Checked the unit to see if any part or wiring that would cause the issue, none was visible. Referred to wiring diagram included inside to identify components, including interlocks. All seemed functional. Bought replacement 20A fuse. Fuse holder no longer available so bought similar unit with 25A rating - little retrofitting. Put unit back together, and it's working so far. Wife is happy. Read more

This is a small electric motor that drives the stirrer blade or fan inside the microwave cavity. The stirrer distributes microwave energy evenly throughout the cooking area to prevent hot and cold spots in food. Replace this motor if your microwave heats unevenly, the stirrer blade no longer rotates, or you hear unusual noises coming from the top of the microwave interior.
All other functions seemed normal but nothing would heat at all. Eliminating the other top causes for malfunction; diode, cap, power supply, fuse, narrowed down to magnetron which incidentally had a cracked magnet ring. Received replacement in less than one week. Replaced part and unit function has been restored. Also replaced the light bulb while it was opened up. Ordered fuse and door switches just to have on hand should they ever fail.
