My son searched the internet for replacement hinges. Found them at Appliance Parts Pros.com. The stove is approximately 18 years old, so imagine my surprise! The parts were delivered 2 days after our order was placed...and arrived on Christmas Eve, in time for dinner. To install, he did have to purchase a single die/tappit thingie to make the screws work. I installed the new Temperature Sensor and tested the oven. The oven temperature would reach the desired set temperature, but after about 5 minutes I would get the F3 Fault code again. Therefore , I thought the real problem may have been the Circuit Board instead of the temperature sensor. However, I installed the new Temperature Sensor without cutting the power to the oven. After removing and inspecting the Control Board from the Appliance: an Amana Self Cleaning Oven, I was able to get the board working. It failed occasionally however, we were able to do all our Christmas baking. My wife and I went out shopping for a new stove. Stunned by sticker shock to get a like replacement, I was able to convince her that if we replace the control board, she would then have time to look for exactly what she wanted. . Unplugged range. Removed 4 phillips screws holding front control panel on.Lifted up panel and layed forward.Pulled the 2 wires going to burner off and tested for continuity with my test meter. Found burner to be open(no continuity) so I ordered new burner that night. Could not believe how fast it came! Not the next day but the day after it arrived!
