The inlet sump was deteriorating and pieces of it were clogging the spray arms. The gasket/seal on the bottom of the door was also deteriorated and clogging the filters. That seal was only available on a new inner door. It took a few hours because of the new inner door and I was taking my time doing extra cleaning and such. The control strip that has the different settings, on, off, reset, deep clean, normal, ect. I could set the different cleaning settings but the unit would not start and I needed to install a new control strip. The instructions that came with replacing the detergent tank locknut were pretty clear. Separating the inner and outer surfaces of the door requires some care. The two surfaces are held together by a number of Phillips head screws. Once the two surfaces are loose, there is a ribbon cable, and a multi-pin IDC connector that connect the control panel on the front door, to the control module mounted on the inner door.
