I had a friend watch the video and do the work. There was a problem in that the screws were rusted to the back plate and would not screw off. My friend had to use a drill to drill through them to be able to remove them. He had to go to a hardware store to buy a new set. Once we had the new screws it went fairly quickly. I called a repairman out ($90) to diagnose problem which I was unable to figure out on my own (after tearing apart dishwasher). It was a simple $1 washer that was rotten. While I was on this website I went ahead and ordered some other gaskets too. Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Easy to fix. First shut off electric at fuse box. Remove front panel with screws just inside the door edge. Then remove the dispenser brackets screws and brackets. Carefully remove the 3 wire connections. Now pop out the old dispenser. Install the new dispenser, wires, brackets and door panel in reverse order. Read more
