Upon examination of the dryer, I noticed that the belt was intact, though a little worn and hard. However, I noticed that the belt had came of the idler pulley. So I put it back on and had the owners try it out on their next load of wash. It, once again failed to keep the drum turning. So I ordered a new belt and idler pulley (order # 8676164). Replaced front panel and inner liner of door (kit), trap duct assembly, both bearing slides (gray and white), and drum front support bearing. First replaced the gas valve solenoids but that wasn't it. After further research, replaced the gas valve. The lock arm support on the new one didn't line up with the dryer lock base but I just bent the arm back a little to fit. Made sure to use gas tape (thicker) when reconnecting the gas pipe.
