A replacement screw used to secure panels and components in compatible GE appliances. Replacing missing or damaged screws restores secure mounting, reduces rattling, and helps keep parts aligned during normal operation. What it does:
- Fastens panels, trim, brackets, or small appliance components to maintain proper alignment and fit.
- Keeps internal parts secured to reduce vibration, rattling, or movement during use.
- Replaces stripped, rusted, or missing hardware that can cause loose or misaligned panels.
- Small, non-electrical part — does not affect electrical circuits or controls.
What's included: One screw. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and unplug the appliance before accessing internal parts.
- Use the properly sized screwdriver to avoid stripping the head; hand-start threads to prevent cross-threading.
- Tighten securely but avoid over-torquing; overtightening can strip threads or damage plastic components.
- Keep track of small parts and hardware; replace any damaged or mismatched screws with the correct OEM part.
