I replaced the belt, belt tension pulley, both dryer drum roller axles and both drum support rollers. Although I bought 2 tumbler bearing kits, because those still look good I am saving them for when they go bad. The videos were fantastic! I also took pictures as I went of wiring so there would be no question where things went when reassembling. This was my first ever self appliance repair. The videos provided by Appliance Parts Pros were excellent and gave me the confidence to do the work myself. My Maytag dryer model opened differently than the one in the videos. I had to replace the terminal block due to the 220 volt ark. A small fire at the bottom of the dryer caused the belt to partially burn. I had to replace it along with the 220 volt dryer cable. If the local hardware store would have taken the time to install the dryer with an additional 0.50 cent grommet, this could have been avoided. Thank you for sending the correct parts. Took the front panel off (the door front), disconnected the connector to the door switch and used a wooden clothespin to bypass the door switch. Turned on the dryer to locate loud squeaking sound and found it was coming from the motor area. When I started to take the blower section apart from the motor, that is when I saw the "blower wheel" slipped off the motor shaft. I removed the single screw that held the existing lens in place and removed the lens. I then used an awl to properly line up the new lens in place, since it is in an inconvenient spot inside the dryer drum. Then I taped the lens in place temporarily with blue tape, removed the awl and re-installed the screw and tightened it securely. I finished the job by removing the blue tape. This was a Maytag DE312 actually a Whirlpool labeled as Maytag) and is 27 years old. Replaced motor, drive belt and drum rollers. One tricky part was the motor because the new motor comes with integral starter and it was necessary to cut off existing female spade connectors on some wires and crimp on new connectors.
