After finding an excellent video on Youtube that addressed the exact problem I had, I ordered: a defrost heater and also replaced the Thermo Bimetal-Protec, and a sensor. The biggest problem was getting the ice that had formed on the back of my refrigerator to melt. I allowed this to happen on its own without applying heat as I feared heat may damage some of the plastic parts on the refrigerator. The motor damper cover assembly is a protective housing that encloses the damper mechanism connected to the appliance's motor, shielding it from moisture, lint, and physical damage while helping to reduce vibration and noise during operation. It keeps the damper components properly aligned and functioning. Replace this part if the cover is cracked or missing, or if you are experiencing unusual motor noise or vibration that is traced to this area.
A temperature-sensing switch that controls the automatic defrost cycle in your refrigerator's freezer section. Replace when experiencing excessive frost buildup, constantly running defrost heater, or inconsistent freezer temperatures.
The dispenser cover assembly is the hinged or removable cover panel that protects the detergent, fabric softener, and bleach dispenser compartments on the inside of your washer door or drum opening. It keeps dispenser cups clean and prevents detergent from spilling into the drum at the wrong time. Replace this part if the cover is cracked, broken, or no longer latches properly, which can cause detergent to release too early in the wash cycle.
