This 1/4-20 nut secures related fasteners in appliance assemblies to keep components aligned and stable. It's a direct-fit replacement when the original nut is worn, stripped, or missing. What it does:
After watching the repair video I opened up the dryer without any problems and found that the belt tension pully bearing failed and the mount arm had an excessive amount play in it. Being as switch was already broken I did not have to remove control panel cover. There was enough wire to pull out of slot to be able to simply switch out the switches, the new one snapped right in. Took about 5 minutes. AppliancePartsPros.com was the only supplier I found that exactly matched the electrical specs from my broken switch. Read more
