I did some research online and figured out that I needed to replace the control module. I tried the other possible solutions first but they did not work. I ordered the part and it arrived in a few days. I had to remove the back panel on the door of the dishwasher with a screwdriver and Torx bit to access the module. This dishwasher display switch controls the selection and indication of wash cycles and options. It allows you to choose different cleaning programs and shows the current cycle status. Fixes problems when cycle selection buttons don't work or the display doesn't show selected options properly.
