This lower wash arm bearing keeps the dishwasher's lower spray arm turning smoothly so dishes get even water coverage. It replaces a worn bearing to reduce noise and restore proper spray-arm rotation. What it does:
After discovering that these parts were not the problem. I found replacements for the impeller online and replaced those parts plus these parts. Disassembly was difficult and one bolt inside of the motor shaft had to be drilled out. Replace filter unit and pump seal kit. This is a pretty straight forward repair. Removal requires a few tools: small socket set, a few torx bits, and a little patience to clean out the extra soap and crud that collects below the filter assembly around the impeller and pump. Diagnosis is also fairly straightforward as you will begin to see and feel grit on your dishes, especially on the top rack and you will see that the filter is full of the same grit.
