Mounting screw for dryer cabinet and panel assembly. Replaces lost, stripped, or damaged screws during repairs or part installations. 10-16B x 1.375".
This adhesive felt strip seals the gap between your dryer drum and the front panel. It prevents hot air from escaping and lint from building up in unwanted areas. Replace it if you notice excessive lint around the door area or reduced drying efficiency.
I removed the damaged felt strips and all adhesive residue from the dryer door face. Then I installed the new felt strips. The plastic glides snapped into place easily on the drum. Reinstalling the door was a simple operation, and the drum fit snugly on the new felt gaskets. The dryer works great now, runs quietly, and the entire repair cost much less than a service call or purchasing a new dryer. Read more

This is a motor and pulley intended for use with dryers. The purpose of this component is to rotate the dryer belt. This spins the drum where the clothes are contained. The part includes the pulley where the dryer belt attaches. The motor and pulley can be damaged or become worn out. This may cause a humming noise, a stiff motor, a rotating motor, or other issues. If this is the case, the component will need to be replaced. To replace this part, make sure the dryer is unplugged from the wall. A set of tools and work gloves will be useful for the process. Take the top and front panels off the dryer to gain access to the drum. Remove the drum, take off the motor clamps, and loosen the blower wheel. Remove the back panel and blower wheel before taking out the motor and pulley and replacing them. Reassemble the appliance before use.The motor and pulley is sold on an individual basis. It is an authentic OEM replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer. This component is made to be used with dryers created by Hotpoint and General Electric.
