1.Removed the electrical connector and replaced with new 16 gauge wires soldered in place and insulated. 2. Removed old door gasket and retainer and replaced with new gasket and retainer, using new screws. [The repair video associated with this repair kit is incorrect. 1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive.
