This small clip secures your dishwasher door latch mechanism in the proper position. It ensures the door latch assembly stays aligned and functions correctly. If your dishwasher door won't latch properly or feels loose when closing, this clip may be missing or damaged.
Assessed the situation and determined that the metal strike was broken. The unit did not work and no power due to this. Looked up the part with the model number and installed in less than 10 minutes. I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts. This small plastic clip prevents your dishwasher's upper dish rack from sliding too far forward when pulled out. It stops the rack at the proper position to prevent it from falling out completely. Replace this clip if your upper rack slides out too far or falls off its tracks when loaded with dishes.

Replaced bottom left front tub wheel to top rack. Rack rail is slightly bent because of fall. New part works fine with a slight stiffness to rail. problem resolved. Read more
Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros - super fast shipping, and even though I opted for regular shipping all of my parts arrived the very next day, including the big and bulky inner basket. Disassembly went smoothly, simply following the directions in the AppliancePartsPros video. Replaced the pump housing (which has half of the seal) and the impeller (which has the other, more important half of the seal). It was easy and would have been easier if I took more photos during disassembly. FYI, take your photos before you take it apart, not after.... Read more
