Made by Whirlpool. 3/8 inch FPT inlet.
It was a water supply issue. Not enough water, so pump couldn't generate enough pressure to spin the blades, etc. There WAS water getting into the machine, just not enough. To confirm the diagnosis, I just poured some water from a kitchen pan into the machine, then it was enough to make everything work, blades spin, etc. I could see the water going into the machine when the inlet valve engaged (door open, but manually engaging the door interlock switch), but it wasn't much flow. I replaced the pump/motor assemble and the seal. Took less than 10 minutes to fix and that was with me thinking about it for 5 minutes before I started. Read more

Door latch strike.
Assessed the situation and determined that the metal strike was broken. The unit did not work and no power due to this. Looked up the part with the model number and installed in less than 10 minutes. Unit worked immediately. The two screws require a star wrench or small nut driver for removal. Very easy! Read more
Ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros - super fast shipping, and even though I opted for regular shipping all of my parts arrived the very next day, including the big and bulky inner basket. Disassembly went smoothly, simply following the directions in the AppliancePartsPros video. Replaced the diaphragm in the pump ,and replaced the check valve ( The rubber flap in the check valve had deteriorated around edges so I replaced that as well.) I don't understand why you can't get the rubber flap. I guess they have you over a barrel with that. No fault to Appliance Parts Pros, its not out there that I could tell. Great prices and service.
