This lower wash arm bearing keeps the dishwasher's lower spray arm turning smoothly so dishes get even water coverage. It replaces a worn bearing to reduce noise and restore proper spray-arm rotation. What it does:
After discovering that these parts were not the problem. I found replacements for the impeller online and replaced those parts plus these parts. Disassembly was difficult and one bolt inside of the motor shaft had to be drilled out. Replace filter unit and pump seal kit. This is a pretty straight forward repair. Removal requires a few tools: small socket set, a few torx bits, and a little patience to clean out the extra soap and crud that collects below the filter assembly around the impeller and pump. I ordered the Door Switch Kit, along with a few other items. However, the switch kit was all that was needed. Isimply followed the instructions that came with the kit. It was necessary to cut the wires which connected to the wire assembly in the door of the dishwasher. I then connected the pieces from the switch kit and then connected the end pieces to the door. I closed the door, and started up the dishwasher. It worked as well as before. Read more
