A month ago I replaced the heating element in a Samsung Dryer, everything was working great, then it stopped heating again. I disassembled the dryer again thinking g the heating element had quit working again. After takining it apart again I found the element be still intact and okay. On the side of the elheating element housing are two other parts (1) the thermostat and (2) fuse assembly. I noticed the fuse assembly had a melted spot on it. Part I replaced had exact same symptoms. I called the appliancepartspartspros customer service and they agreed to send me another control unit. Based on symptoms the control unit is the only part that could affect the timer functions. Read more

Replaced glass from samsung dryer, product came in 5 days using regular shipping. Product came secure and intact. Helpful video on web for installation. Used Philip bit and drill with adjustable speed and hammer setting. Read more
Started out replacing thermostat and thermistor, but that wasn't the issue. I then moved on to the motor, since it was still under warranty. That didn't fix it either. Read online that the circuit board can go out causing similar issues. Ordered it from APP and had it changed out in about 10 minutes. Dryer started working normally. Read more
It wound up as the thermistor switch that is located in the out vent duct along with an over temp switch. As long as it was apart I replaced the drum belt which made for extra work but it saves another down time later. If a person goes by the Samsung manual you will take a lot more off than needed.
