Replaced motor assembly. Also replaced drum belt since I was in there. Change out was SIMPLE, Full motor assembly came as one piece, saved a ton of time from having to disasemble the motor only. Total time was less then 45min. Read more
Checked all thermal fuses and replaced. - Still no good Replaced Main Board - Still no good Tested motor and did not get good ohm readings so replaced Motor unit - Still no good Checked voltage coming to back of dryer - one phase was 0 volts and the other was 220. Plug and outlet had arc'd and shorted. Replaced cord and outlet - All is good :) Read more
The dryer lint chute assembly is the pathway system that directs lint from the drum to the lint filter area. Replace when lint builds up excessively in the dryer, drying times increase significantly, or airflow seems restricted.
Due to manufacturer changes, the idler assembly is no longer included. If needed use part number DC93-00634A. For the motor bracket only use part number DC61-01213A.
