Started by replacing the upper and middle spray arms. After that no change, dishes in the upper rack not clean. Suspected low water pressure was causing the problem. Next, I replaced the water delivery tubing. Still no change, in fact now the dishes in the lower rack were not getting clean now. Next, I decided to replace the impeller. The model number on the dishwasher did not have a -0000 or -0001 on the end of the model number so I bought the part for both models. I assume if yours doesn't have it, then it is the -0000 model like mine, which of course means the more expensive part. You can always buy both and return the one you don't need. Dishwasher won't advance cycles or shows flashing lights? The main control board manages cycle timing and water levels. Moderate DIY repair with power off.
Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor.
