Unplugged the old switch, plugged in the new on and screwed it back together. Before I purchased the lock/switch from Appliance Parts. I priced it at Sears Parts. It was $12 more and the 2 weeks delivery time which I also paid at $5.95 shipping. Appliance parts delivered in 3 days. for $12.34 cheaper. I have ordered both replacement parts from here and not only did I get parts faster than getting them from someone in town they are half the price. The repairs both times were easy and I am so pleased with the quality. I have shared your website with others great service and prices. This is the third time replacing this part and each time - it solves the problem. The door latch only lasts about a year to 18 months before it starts to "pop" when you need to force it back to the unlatched position. With a drill set to the lowest torque setting, removed the 12 (T20) Torx screws from the inside of the door to gain access inside the door. Replaced the latch and reinstalled the 12 screws.
