I went on line found the PE code and started troubleshooting. I ended up ordering a new circuit board, and the half-load motor and micro-switch. It turned out, I didn't need the circuit board. Replacing the motor and micro-switch solved the problem. The repair was very simple. I pulled out the dishwasher from under the counter, tipped it on its side and unscrewed the white plastic plate on the bottom. This exposed all the working parts of the dishwasher.
