This refrigerator drawer track guides and supports your crisper or freezer drawer as it slides in and out. It ensures smooth operation and proper alignment while supporting the weight of the drawer and its contents. Replace this track if your drawer is difficult to open or close, doesn't slide smoothly, or falls off its guides.
The broken track and shelf stud were the most important part of the repair. I was astounded to find parts for a 20 year old fridge. I was concerned about how to remove the damaged stud. White plastic hinge cover that snaps onto the top of your refrigerator door hinge. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing for a clean finished look.
I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. The dispenser drip tray catches water and ice that falls from the refrigerator's front-mounted water and ice dispenser. Replace when the tray is cracked, stained beyond cleaning, or doesn't fit properly in its slot.
Internet videos provided troubleshooting help. Verified ice maker working by shorting terminals and then verified valve was bad with ohmmeter check.
