White plastic hinge cover that snaps onto the top of your refrigerator door hinge. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing for a clean finished look.
I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. Following the video on the Appliance Pro Parts website, I re-installed the new seal and put the door back on. Last step was to snap on the new hinge cap I ordered. Our refrigerator is over 15 years old and has been working great with only minor complaints and repairs. We noticed that our water level has been discolored from minor dripping. Our hard water discolors everything. We decided to replace this lever and. The ice dispense lever was also replaced since we wanted both to match and I had to open that area anyway. This plastic clip or bracket keeps refrigerator shelves securely positioned and prevents them from sliding out accidentally. Replace when shelves slide out too easily, won't stay in position, or retainers are cracked or missing.
