The video provided by Appliance Parts Pros is excellent! I followed its steps. The one problem I had was getting the ribbon to disconnect. The plastic pieces that hold it together are fragile and broke. So, instead of disconnecting the ribbon I placed a kitchen stool in front of the dishwasher door and laid the top portion on it. Removed and replaced Sump Inlet. Also made use of the parts diagram to ensure everything when back together properly. No adhesives were needed, except Teflon tape where the main water line connects to the dishwasher. First time to ever work on a dishwasher. Read more
Every now & then my old GE Triton dishwasher wouldn't completely drain.I had previously replaced the spring-loaded cone shaped drain valve in the back of the tub plus the check valve in the discharge hose.If your dishwasher is old like mine replace these as mine were shot. This kit is used to repair a leaking pump on GE made dishwashers. For a complete pump/motor assembly get WD26X10013.
The main conduit was broken and the pump connector had a hole in it. The pump also was showing signs of leaking. I completely disassembled the dishwasher cleaned everything and reassembled. The repair videos are a big help. Thank you. Read more
