Replaces broken or missing end cap that secures the door shelf rail to your refrigerator or freezer door liner. Keeps shelf trim bar properly mounted.
On our refrigerator the end caps had broken, leaving a flat part of the end cap covering the mounting holes in the door. I drilled through the center of the broken pieces to release the spring tension on the back of the end cap. I could then remove them and install the new end caps onto the bar and then the bar onto the door. On our refrigerator the model number did not match when cross checking with the part number. New gasket. Thought it would be as easy as the video demonstration ('just slide the gasket in") but it wasn't. My unit is 16 years old, so the old gasket was really stuck in there. We were working on it while the freezer was on and cold, which made everything less flexible.
