After ordering a new heater and before disassembling the dishwasher to determine that it was in fact defective I found it was ok. After downloading the repair manual I saw that either the control assembly or the control pad on the door had to be at fault. I bought a replacement turbidity sensor and swapped it out. Very simple and straightforward. However there is one trick to be know. When I pulled out the bad sensor, drain water spilled from the hole and trickled into the motherboard housing! I then had to pull out the board and check it for damage. I left it in front of a box fan for 5 hours just in case. All is well. Read more
Fast fix - less than 1 minute. Did not have to remove the upper rack from dishwasher. Extended the upper rack and located the retaining clip holding the old spray arm in place. Released the old arm from the clip and snapped/slipped new one in place. New arm spins freely and dishes getting clean. Read more
