This is the cap that seals the rinse aid reservoir on the dishwasher door. It keeps rinse aid contained so it dispenses properly during the rinse cycle. Replace this cap if it is cracked, missing, or no longer seals tightly, which can cause rinse aid to leak out prematurely and result in spotty or poorly dried dishes.
Took cover completely off and tried putting back, could not match up left screw with available screw hole. Tried many different configurations and sequences to make this happen. watched a video on changing the front panel, the door in it had four screws, mine 2, no help there. Searched on the hyperextending issue, found an article about dogs and kids [had both here] climbing on the door and to check the springs and linkages. I first thought the leak came from the pump assembly rear o ring. I was wrong. The water was leaking from the pump. The pump assembly was shipped in 1 1/2 days with 2 more o rings. I lubed the o rings with dish soap, they slid in perfectly. reinstalled the clamp and screws and was ready to reinstall the dishwasher. Worked great. Next time I will buy the pump the first time. This roller assembly mounts to the bottom of a dishwasher dishrack and allows it to slide in and out of the tub smoothly. It typically includes the roller wheel, axle, and mounting clip. Replace this part if the dishrack is difficult to pull out, rolls unevenly, or if the roller is cracked, worn, or has fallen off the track.
