Description

The Sump Cover and Filter is an OEM part for Frigidaire dishwashers. Located inside the bottom of the tub, it seals off and protects the drainage sump where debris collects after each wash cycle. The attached mesh filter screens out particles that could otherwise clog drain lines.

Causes can involve mineral buildup that blocks the filter mesh over time, cracks in the plastic housing exposing the sump, or a missing or damaged filter that fails to trap solids.

Symptoms of a bad sump cover and filter include:

• Standing water inside the bottom of the dishwasher tub
