Very easy fix. Lifted off the grill and burner. Unscrewed 2 screws. Pulled the burner pan up and off. Disconnected the wire to the igniter. Used needle nosed pliers to remove the clip holding the igniter in place. Removed the gasket from the old burner pan. Placed the new igniter in the hole of the new burner pan and slipped the old clip on the igniter to hold it in place. Then put the old gasket on the new burner pan. Replaced the Controller (mother board). I previously replaced the temperature probe (316217002) but that did not resolve the problem. Replacing the Controller (318185446 / AP3583606) was much easier and quicker than replacing the probe. Simply remove the 6 or 8 screws that secure that range top and the top lifts easily exposing the Controller. There are only 4 electrical connections that easily unplug and reattach. Ordered a new clock/timer control. This was very easy to install the real trick was removing about 8 wires and 4 plug in connectors from the board and then reinstalling them back in the same location as the were before. I took a photo of the board with my IPhone before taking all the wires off, this made it very easy to reinstall the wires on the same terminals as before.
