This electronic control board manages your oven's cooking functions, temperature regulation, and timer operations. It interprets signals from the control panel and activates heating elements, fans, and other components to maintain proper cooking temperatures. Replace this board if your oven won't heat up, displays error messages, or the control buttons don't respond.
Replaced the Controller (mother board). I previously replaced the temperature probe (316217002) but that did not resolve the problem. Replacing the Controller (318185446 / AP3583606) was much easier and quicker than replacing the probe. Simply remove the 6 or 8 screws that secure that range top and the top lifts easily exposing the Controller. There are only 4 electrical connections that easily unplug and reattach. Worked great. Only recommendation I have is to take a quick picture of the old board before you disconnect the wires. After you receive the new part you'll have a quick reference to hook everything back up. Should take about 10 min. Super easy fix. Read more
