After removing the cover plate and un plugging the wires. Their are 4 screws that hold the housing to the door. with the housing out, I could see where the pivot rod for the ice door should have been, I then ordered a new housing and ice door seal. Taping up the hole in the freezer while waiting for parts. when the new housing arrived I transferred switches and the light from the old to new.
